neoprene or polychloroprene is a family of synthetic rubbers that are produced by polymerization of chloroprene. neoprene exhibits good chemical stability, and maintains flexibility over a wide temperature range. it is used in a wide variety of applications, such as laptop sleeves, orthopedic braces, electrical insulation, liquid and sheet applied elastomeric membranes or flashings, and automotive fan belts.

these 'mirage' neoprene shoes are velcro fastened and reinforced with elastic around the heel. they are a classic water shoe, although there aren't any written rules to say this is gospel. i think they should be rocked out in the street equally as often.

no need to worry about melbournes wet weather approaching, these mirage neoprenes have got me covered......temporarily.

aquarelle by tussock studio

watercolour, also aquarelle from french, is a painting method. a watercolour is the medium or the resulting artwork in which the paints are made of pigments suspended in a water-soluble vehicle.

the traditional and most common support for watercolour paintings is paper; other supports include papyrus, bark papers, plastics, vellum or leatherfabric, wood, and canvas. watercolours are usually transparent, and appear luminous because the pigments are laid down in a relatively pure form with few fillers obscuring the pigment colours.

a dear friend has created this lil gem for king kenka. i am honoured to share one of her wonderful pieces of art. pop over to for a peek.

kimalle = glitter

all that is gold does not glitter,
not all those who wander are lost;
the old that is strong does not wither,
deep roots are not reached by the frost.
from the ashes a fire shall be woken,
a light from the shadows shall spring;
renewed shall be blade that was broken,
the crownless again shall be king.

nb = note well

nb may refer to:

 * abbreviation for nota bene, a latin expression meaning "note well"

some other "nb" references:

* new brunswick, a province of canada
* north britain, a historical term for scotland
* new baltimore
* new britain
* northern beaches, in sydney, australia

nb is also famous for the american footwear manufacturer "new balance" it was founded in 1906 as the new balance arch support company. eschewing expensive advertising campaigns, it has, nevertheless, grown to be one of the largest makers of sports footwear in the world. these classic trainers are winners in my bright eyes.
just perfect.
